We offer our customers top quality 3D representations of the products on their websites. For the Solutions Engineer position you will need to be able to review whether our 3D content is functioning as it should and/or provide advice on how it could be even better. You will need to explain what's wrong and what you think can be done about it.
In this assignment we aim to test your eye for detail and your technical web skills.
In this scenario somebody has integrated our 3D content into a fictitious webshop page. You can find the page and our 3D presentation right here:
It's up to you to judge the quality of that 3D integration.
We'd would like you to submit a document that you would present to the developer that created this integration in which you present your judgement and feedback. Please do so for each of the requirements listed below and describe whether the integration passes, or whether there are issues. For each of the issues then explain what's wrong and what you think should be done to fix it.
To submit your deliverable, please reply to the email we sent and attach a .pdf document with your findings.
Before you start we recommend you check whether you see 3D content on the link above, if you don't, please try a more modern device/browser combination. We recommend running the lastest version of Chrome on a modern laptop.
<aside> 💡 We check our quality requirements on many different resolutions to ensure our 3D content works as expected. For this assessment we expect you to test on these two resolutions: - 1920px by 1000px (pretty standard maximized window on a full-hd resolution monitor) - 375px by 812px (iPhone X resolution)
